Dr. Mehmet Kutlu TANK

ENDODONTIS SPECIALIST

Upon graduating from Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry in 1988, Dr. Tank carried out his Ph.D. research project in Hanau/Germany Pathology Institute in 1995. In 1996, he received the title of Dr. Med. Dentist in Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Endodontics. In the same year, he worked at Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry, and between the years 2001 and 2006, he worked as a freelance dentist in the “Dr. Med. Dent. (TR) M. K. Tank” Clinic in Wuppertal, Germany. Between 2004-2006, he worked as a Department Manager at IMECE GmbH in Düsseldorf, as well as working independently whereby engaging in project development and investment consultancy (Healthcare projects), and business plan production activities.

Between the years of 2005-2006, he became the founding partner of IVORYDENT GmbH & CO. KG, working as a partner responsible for the development of projects related to the import and export of dental prostheses and production. In 2007-2008, he acted as a clinic manager, founder and concept consultant at My Dental Clinic. Between the years of 2008-2017, he worked as an Endodontist at Istanbul Başkent University Training, Application and Research Hospital, Oral and Dental Health Polyclinic. He worked as a translator for various dentistry books and journals. He was involved in organizing courses and seminars on the use of various endodontic equipment. He worked as a TIM network Health project consultant in 2016-2017.

He is the founding partner of TAZ Consulting in Bamako/Mali. He is currently working as an Endodontics Specialist at Medicadent Oral and Dental Health Polyclinic. He applies SWEEPS and PIPS systems at the instructor level in root canal treatment applications. Dr Mehmet Kutlu TANK is an instructor of Optimum Dent Academy.

Dr. Nesrin SÖNMEZ

PROSTHETIC DENTISTRY

After graduating from Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry in 2011, Dr. Nesrin Sönmez completed her doctorate in the field of Prosthetic Dentistry in 2016. She completed her doctoral thesis ‘Examining the mechanical analysis of different materials used with CAD / CAM systems’ in 2016.

In 2013, she studied in the field of implant surgery at the University of Freiburg, Germany. In 2017, she started teaching as a Dr. lecturer at Beykent University Vocational School, Department of Dentistry Services. In 2018, she started to work as the Head of the Department of Dentistry and the Head of the Dental Prosthesis Technologies program and still continues this work. She has been serving in Private Medicadent Oral and Dental Health Polyclinic as of 2021 in aesthetic dentistry, implant restorations and fast & fixed concept fields. Dr. Nesrin Sönmez is the trainer of Optimum Dent Academy.

Dr. Begüm Gök Çoban

Pedodontist

Dt. Gök Çoban was born in 1985 in Kirsehir. In 2003, she graduated from high school and the same year she began training at Ankara University (Faculty of Dentistry). In 2008 she began her training in pediatric dentistry at the Süleyman Demirel University. She received her PhD with the thesis ”Testing the effectiveness of the plant extract in the prevention of oral biofilm formation in pediatric patients”.

She worked with in national and international congresses and working there in training programs at schools for oral hygiene. Between 2011- 2015 she worked as dentist in a pediatric dentistry clinic Diş Dostu. She has been working as a pedodontics specialist in Medicadent Oral and Dental Health Policlinic since 2016 and uses the laser effectively in pediatric dentistry. She received one-to-one training at Giovanni Guy's Hospital from Giovanni Olivi, which has an important place in
the world in the use of dental laser in pediatric dentistry and endodontics. She performed laser applications at Chiswell Green, one of the few clinics in London.

Apart from his professional life, Dr. Gök Çoban is interested in theater and music. She often travels and deals with different cultures. In addition, She actively participates in social responsibility projects and works with children with disabilities, especially with disabilities.

Dt. Gök Çoban is an instructor of the Global Dental Association and has been involved in
numerous seminars and workshops.

Dt. Erdinç Kılıç

Conservatif Dentistry

Erdinç Kılıç was born June 22, 1963 in Istanbul. He graduated from the University of Istanbul in 1987, and took after his military service his work in a private dental practice with went from 1989 by 2008.

From 2008 to 2011 he worked at DentIstanbul and worked from 2008 to 2016 as chief physician at Medical Park Dental Clinic.

Specialist Dt. Sevcan AKÇA

ENDODONTIST SPECIALIST

After completing her studies at E.C.A Elginkan Anatolian High School in 2012, Specialist Dt. Sevcan Akça graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry with honors in 2017. Afterwards she started her education in 2018 at Bülent Ecevit University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Endodontics. She completed her education and received the title of “Specialist Dentist”. After serving in many polyclinics and hospitals, she joined the Medicadent family. Her professional interests are root canal treatment, regenerative endodontic treatments, vital pulp treatments, restorative dentistry and endodontic surgery.

Specialist Dt. Sevcan AKÇA is a member of Turkish Endodontic Society and European Endodontic Society.

Dt. Nur GÜRGEN

DENTIST

She graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Dentistry in 1990 and started to work in a private polyclinic in Çankaya the same year. Upon working in the Dental Clinic of Private Göksoy Hospital in 1994, she later opened her own practice. During this time, she participated in many national and international training programs and congresses. She received Botulinum Toxin and Dermal Filler trainings in 2013, Prof. Dr. Manfred LANG prosthetic restorations on implants in 2014, Fotona Laser Aesthetic Applications and Snoring Treatments in 2015. Tenured at Medicadent Oral and Dental Health Polyclinics since 2013, she has been performing aesthetic and prosthetic dentistry, which are her special expertise. Dt. Nur Gürgen is an instructor of Optimum Dent Academy.

Dt. İzel KAZAK

DENTIST

She completed her high school education at Üsküdar Science High School and started her dentistry education at Istanbul Medipol University Faculty of Dentistry. Upon graduating in 2020, Dentist İzel Kazak served as the founding president of UniGlobal Dentistry Club during her university studies.

She contributed to the experiences of the students of the faculty of dentistry with the many trainings and symposiums she took part in their organization. During her education, she participated in many courses, symposiums and various congresses nationally and internationally. In 2019, she received special implant initial and ergonomic training from IFZI ACADEMY (www.ifzi.de). She has successfully completed the training modules of LA & HA (Laser and Health Academy) laser safety, laser physics and laser use in restorative and endodontic treatments.

She is currently attending Aachen University (aalz.com) International Laser Master Program. Dt. Izel Kazak works as a dentist at Medicadent Oral and Dental Health Polyclinics.

Specialist Dt. Adile Salehli TOSUN

ORTHODONTICS SPECIALIST

Adile Salehli Tosun, who graduated from Rotary 100th Year Anatolian High School in 2010, enrolled in Istanbul Medipol University Faculty of Dentistry in the same year and graduated in 2016 as the salutatorian of the faculty. In the same year, she became the 55th in Turkey in the Dentistry Specialization Examination and was entitled to become a Research Assistant at the Department of Orthodontics at Uşak University. After working in many private institutions, she ultimately joined the Medicadent family as an Orthodontist in 2021. Professional interests; facial aesthetics are primarily orthodontic treatment, clear plaques, child and adult orthodontics and night plaque (splint) applications.

Specialist Dt. Adile Salehli Tosun, a licensed Invisalign practitioner, is a member of the European Orthodontic Society, Turkish Dental Association, FACE Academy and Turkish Orthodontic Society.

Dt. Aleyna Yenibayrak

DENTIST

Dt. Aleyna Yenibayrak completed her high school education at Davutpaşa Anatolian High School in 2015, she started her Dentistry education at the Bülent Ecevit Faculty of Dentistry in Zonguldak the same year.
Upon completion of her studies in 2020, Dt. Aleyna Yenibayrak continued to work as general dentist in private clinics between 2020-2022.
She has been working in Medicadent Oral and Dental Health Polyclinic since October 2022.

Dr. Dt. Mustafa Gürkan

PROSTHETIC DENTIST

After graduating from Abant İzzet Baysal University, Faculty of Dentistry in 2016, Dr. Dt. Mustafa Gürkan completed his doctorate in ‘Prosthetic Dentistry’ at Ege University Health Sciences Institute in 2022. He completed his doctorate thesis in 2022 on “Comparison of the mechanical strength and stress analyzes of PEEK infrastructure produced with different techniques for All-On-Four hybrid prostheses”. After having worked in various private clinics between 2014-2022, Dr. Dt. Mustafa Gürkan started working at Medicadent Oral and Dental Health Polyclinic in October 2022.

Specialist Dt. Elif Özeren Erdoğan

ORTHODONTICS SPECIALIST

Upon completing her high school education in 2012 at Rıdvan Ege Anatolian High School in Ankara, Specialist Dt. Elif Özeren Erdoğan started her education at Hacettepe University Faculty of Dentistry the same year.

Having completed her education as an honor student in 2017, Dr. Dt. Elif Özeren Erdoğan took the 31st place in the ‘Dentistry Specialization Exam’ in Turkey and received her specialty title at Selcuk University, Department of Orthodontics. After working in various clinics, she has been working as an orthodontist at Medicadent Oral and Dental Health Polyclinic as of November 2022.

Specialist Dt. Gürkan Abdioğlu

ORAL, DENTAL AND JAW SURGERY SPECIALIST

After graduating from Bağcılar Orhangazi High School in 2009, Specialist Dt. Gürkan Abdioğlu started his education at Istanbul Medipol University Faculty of Dentistry in 2010. Between 2011-2014,

Dt. Gürkan Abdioğlu started the Integrated Biochemistry PhD program at the same university in 2014.
In 2014, he earned the right to study at Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry.

Between 2014-2016, he completed his undergraduate and graduate education at Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry.
Taking the 48th place in DUS Exam held in 2016 in Turkey, Dt. Gürkan Abdioğlu was entitled to enter Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Oral, Dental and Maxillofacial Surgery. During his studies there, he was interested in oral surgery, impacted tooth extraction, cyst and tumor surgery, jaw fractures, oral diseases, dental implantology, jawbone grafting/reconstruction and minor orthognathic surgery.

He successfully completed his specialty clinical thesis named “In the augmentation techniques of horizontal alveol bone, as a retrospective study the success of the autogenous bone greft healing alveolar bone splitting techniques” in 2021, and received the title of specialist dentist (Oral, Dental and Maxillofacial Surgery Specialist).

After having worked in various clinics, Dr. Dt. Gürkan Abdioğlu has been working as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon at Medicadent Oral and Dental Health Polyclinic as of November 2022.

Dt. Can Sart

DENTIST

After completing his high school education in Manisa Fatih Anatolian High School in 2015, he started his dentistry education at Sivas Cumhuriyet University Faculty of Dentistry in 2016.

During his education at the faculty, he attended various courses and worked in polyclinics. Upon completing his education in 2021, Dt. Can Sart joined the Medicadent family in 2021.

Dr. Dt. Nur Atalay

Periodontology Specialist

After graduating from Yeditepe University Faculty of Dentistry with honors in 2016, Dr. Nur Atalay worked in a private oral and dental health center in Istanbul until 2019 and attended various vocational courses. In 2019, she started the Periodontology doctorate program at Istanbul Medipol
University Health Sciences Institute. She conducted her doctoral thesis on “The Effect of Systemic Retinoic Acid Use on Gingival Antimicrobial Defense Mechanisms” in Turkey and Finland.

During her doctorate education, she was interested in periodontal therapy, reconstructive and regenerative periodontal surgery, mucogingival surgery, soft and hard tissue augmentations, periimplantitis treatment and treatment of oral diseases. Nur Atalay is a member of the Turkish Periodontology Association and the European Federation of Periodontology.

Having worked in various private clinics between 2016-2023, Dr. Nur Atalay has been working at Medicadent Oral and Dental Health Polyclinic as of February 2023.
